Ok, so everybody is at a different place in their journey. Some artists have no clue about getting music placements, others have heard about it but have no clue how it really works, and a few might even have had your music placed. No matter where you are, the lessons in this module will make sure you have no doubt about what this industry is and have confidence on what to expect.
We'll start by first laying a firm foundation on the who, what, why and how of licensing your music. By the end of it you'll have full clarity on exactly who to send your music to, the music they're looking for, and how to get started.
Next, you'll get a deep dive into music publishing and your rights as an artist. You'll be taught the terms you need to know specific to sync licensing to have a clear understanding.
Finally you'll get a crash course on the deal types and legal agreements you'll see and need as you begin to license your music, so you'll be prepared for opportunities with key industry gate keepers and collaborators.
